Speculation Season

College football doesn’t officially have a preseason. Sure, there are inter-squad games and many might argue the bigger programs schedule some “practice schools” at the beginning of the season but it’s not like they do in the pros. Therefore, we would like to dub the period before kick-off as “Speculation Season”.

Speculation Season is a time were everybody guesses or argues the outcome of a season yet to be. We here at Fanfare aren’t known prognosticators but we don’t want to be left out. So, we have a Top Ten list of our own as it appears in the graphic above. Spoiler alert: It’s basically our ten highest ranked Suntime partners as they appear on the “preseason” Amway Coaches Poll.

Of course, once the season starts, we will reflect our Top 10 partners’ rankings in the same graphic but we will reflect the “speculation” of the AP Top 25 Poll.
